SYCAMORE — Susan L. Smith, of Findlay, died at 6:55 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. She was 68. No visitation or funeral service are being planned at this time. NORTH ROBINSON — Mohawk’s girls topped Upper Sandusky for the girls championship, and Seneca East’s boys topped the Rams for the boys title in the Northern 10 Athletic Conference junior high championships Saturday at Colonel Crawford.

CAREY — Carey softball scored three times in the first two innings, and it was enough to take a 3-2 victory against Seneca East on Tuesday. The Blue Devils (14-7, 8-3 Northern 10 Athletic Conference) got two runs in the first inning and one in the second.

ATTICA — Wynford had its best pitching and defensive performance of the season, but did not get enough offense in a 5-3 loss in Northern 10 Athletic Conference softball action Monday. The Royals (1-13, 1-9 N10) scored three runs in the first inning, but the Tigers (6-6, 5-5 N10) took the lead with four runs in the third inning.
