NOTICE OF SECOND PUBLIC HEARING
The City of Upper Sandusky intends to apply to commit funding under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Revolving Loan Fund Program, a federally funded program administered by the State. On March 25, 2024, Wyandot County conducted its first public hearing to inform citizens about the CDBG program, how it may be used, what activities are eligible, and other important program requirements.
The following activity is under consideration for funding by the City based on citizen input and local officials' assessment of needs:
4th Street ADA Sidewalks & Curb Ramps: National Objective LMI Limited Clientele, CDBG RLF $194,228.00
A second public hearing will be held Monday, November 17, 2025, at 6:50 PM in the Municipal Building, 119 N. 7th Street, Upper Sandusky, OH 43351, to provide citizens an adequate opportunity to review and comment on the City's proposed CDBG RLF project, as summarized above, before the City submits its application to the Ohio Department of Development. Should any participant require auxiliary aids due to a disability or non-English languages, please contact the City Council office at least one week prior to the hearing date to ensure needs will be accommodated. Anyone wishing to submit written comments prior to the hearing date may direct them to the City Council Office at the address above.
