ORDINANCE NO. 33-14
Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Article V., Section 5.16, of the Municipal Charter of the City of Upper Sandusky, an Ordinance entitled, “AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 553.011 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF UPPER SANDUSKY, OHIO, RELATING TO OBSTRUCTING STREETS BY ABANDONING A LOCOMOTIVE, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.”, was passed by the Council of the City of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, on the 15th day of September, 2025.  The purpose of this Ordinance is to repeal Section 553.11 of the City’s Codified Ordinances, which prohibits the obstruction of public streets by abandoned locomotives, due to recent federal court decisions and the United States Supreme Court’s refusal to review those decisions that have effectively held that federal law preempts local regulation of railroad operations, including blocking crossings.

LEGAL NOTICE
ORDINANCE NO. 35-14
Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Article V., Section 5.16, of the Municipal Charter of the City of Upper Sandusky, an Ordinance entitled, “AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE COMPENSATION RANGE AND TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT SUPERVISOR, PROVIDING THAT CERTAIN BENEFITS SHALL BE INCLUDED WITHIN THE BASE SALARY, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.”, was passed by the Council of the City of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, on the 15th day of September, 2025.  The purpose of this Ordinance is to establish the compensation for the position of Wastewater Treatment Plant Supervisor.

LEGAL NOTICE
RESOLUTION NO. 34-14
Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Article V., Section 5.16, of the Municipal Charter of the City of Upper Sandusky, a Resolution entitled, “A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF UPPER SANDUSKY TO PREPARE AND SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO PARTICIPATE IN THE OHIO PUBLIC WORKS COMMISSION (OPWC) STATE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT AND/OR LOCAL TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM(S) AND TO EXECUTE CONTRACTS AS REQUIRED, AND DECLARING THIS ACT AN EMERGENCY.”, was passed by the Council of the City of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, on the 15th day of September, 2025.  The purpose of this Resolution is to authorize the Mayor to apply to the OPWC for funds for the Sandusky River Waterline Crossing Project.
