You are hereby notified that on the 24th day of April, 2026, a Complaint for Custody of a minor child, namely J.B. (born May 5, 2025), was filed in the Court of Common Pleas of Wyandot County, Ohio, Juvenile Division, by Plaintiff, Devra Bailey.
The natural mother of the minor child is Denay Bailey.
The object of the Complaint is to obtain legal custody of said minor child.
You are required to answer said Complaint within twenty-eight (28) days after the last publication of this Notice. In case of your failure to answer or otherwise respond as required by law, judgment may be granted against you for relief demanded in the Complaint.
This Notice will be published once a week for six (6) consecutive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation in Wyandot County, Ohio.

UPDATED NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING # 2
Program Year 2026 Community Housing Impact & Preservation
Program
The Wyandot County Commissioners in partnership with City of Upper Sandusky intend to apply to the Ohio Department of Development (ODOD) for funding under the Community Housing Impact & Preservation Program (CHIP), which includes funds from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) programs administered by the State of Ohio and funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and Ohio Housing Trust Funds (OHTF). The partnership is eligible to apply for $700,000 in Program Year 2026 for affordable housing activities.
Wyandot County will request funds for the following activities: HOME funds: Private Owner Rehabilitation $396,000/6 units, Tenant Based Rental Assistance $10,000/1 unit; CDBG funds: Private Owner Repair $210,000/ 7 units (in conjunction with OHTF); & Fair Housing $2,500. HOME & CDBG funds: Program Administration $84,000. Wyandot Co. will also commit program income funds for related activities.
On April 28, 2026, Wyandot County held the first of two public hearings to inform citizens about the CDBG program, including an explanation of eligible activities and requirements.
A second public hearing will be held on June 4, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Wyandot County Commissioners office, 109 S. Sandusky Ave Room 10, Upper Sandusky, OH 43351 to provide citizens with pertinent information on the County's CHIP application, including an explanation of activities and eligibility. Citizens are encouraged to attend this meeting. and provide their input.
