Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Article V., Section 5.16, of the Municipal Charter of the City of Upper Sandusky, an Ordinance entitled, “AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION TO KEVIN BURLEW FOR HOURS WORKED AS AN OPERATOR-IN-TRAINING DURING OCTOBER, NOVEMBER, AND DECEMBER OF 2025, AND DECLARING THIS ACT AN EMERGENCY.”, was passed by the Council of the City of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, on the 2nd day of March, 2026.  The purpose of this Ordinance is to approve compensation to Kevin Burlew, City employee, for his work as an operator-in-training from October thru December 2025.

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Article V., Section 5.16, of the Municipal Charter of the City of Upper Sandusky, an Ordinance entitled, “AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE HIRING OF THREE (3) FULL-TIME FIREFIGHTERS AND ONE (1) FULL-TIME FIRE CHIEF FOR THE CITY OF UPPER SANDUSKY, OHIO.”, was passed by the Council of the City of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, on the 2nd day of March, 2026.  The purpose of this Ordinance is to authorize the hiring of three (3) full-time firefighters and one (1) full-time fire chief.

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Article V., Section 5.16, of the Municipal Charter of the City of Upper Sandusky, an Ordinance entitled, “AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF UPPER SANDUSKY, OHIO TO ENTER INTO A COMMUNITY REINVESTMENT AREA AGREEMENT WITH UNI-GRIP, INC.”, was passed by the Council of the City of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, on the 2nd day of March, 2026.  The purpose of this Ordinance is to enter into a Community Reinvestment Area Agreement (tax abatement) with Uni-Grip, Inc., 9823 SR 53 N, Upper Sandusky, Ohio 43351 for a proposed expansion to their facility.

RESOLUTION NO. 62-14
Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Article V., Section 5.16, of the Municipal Charter of the City of Upper Sandusky, a Resolution entitled, “A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE OFFICIAL INTENT AND REASONABLE EXPECTATION OF THE CITY OF UPPER SANDUSKY ON BEHALF OF THE STATE OF OHIO (THE BORROWER) TO REIMBURSE ITS WATER FUND FOR THE CP30AC, WESTSIDE WATERLINE EXTENSION WITH THE PROCEEDS OF TAX EXEMPT DEBT OF THE STATE OF OHIO.”, was passed by the Council of the City of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, on the 2nd day of March, 2026.  The purpose of this Resolution is to approve the reimbursement to the City’s Water Fund for the Westside Waterline Extension Project with the proceeds of bonds to be issued by the State of Ohio.

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Article V., Section 5.16, of the Municipal Charter of the City of Upper Sandusky, an Ordinance entitled, “AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 133-12 AND ELIMINATING THE CITY OF UPPER SANDUSKY’S PICK-UP OF THE STATUTORILY REQUIRED CONTRIBUTION TO THE OHIO POLICE AND FIRE PENSION FUND FOR THE FIRE CAPTAINS OF THE CITY OF UPPER SANDUSKY, AND DECLARING THIS ACT AN EMERGENCY.”, was passed by the Council of the City of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, on the 2nd day of March, 2026.  The purpose of this Ordinance is eliminate the City’s pick-up of the Fire Captains statutorily required contribution to the Ohio Police and Fire Pension Fund to instead be the responsibility of the employees through a salary reduction.
