LEGAL NOTICE
INVITATION TO BID
Sealed proposals for BRIDGE WYA-062-06.06 STEEL TRUSS REHABILITATION, Wyandot County, Ohio, will be received by the Wyandot County Commissioners, Upper Sandusky, Ohio at 109 S. Sandusky Ave., at 10:00 A.M. Local Time, February 26, 2026, and then and there publicly opened and read. The work under this improvement consists of labor and material necessary to complete the project as detailed by the project plans and specifications on file in the office of the Wyandot County Engineer, 320 N. Warpole Street, Upper Sandusky, Ohio 43351.
Complete specifications, including plans, contract forms, proposal forms and full information for bidders may be obtained by contacting the office of the Wyandot County Engineer at (419) 294-2330.
Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety.
Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity.
The following forms must be completed and submitted as the bid package: BF 1-1A Proposal Bond, BF 2 Experience Statement, BF 3 Time of Completion, BF 4 Personal Property Tax Affidavit, BF 5A-5B Proposal Forms, and OPWC 1-3 Compliance Statement and Bidder Certification.
All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123 is required.
Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Wyandot County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration.
