FINDLAY — The Upper Sandusky Middle School wrestling team took second at the Findlay Donnell Duals on Saturday. The Rams beat Archbold, 62-25; Findlay Glenwood, 75-12; and Kenton, 76-10; but lost to host Donnell, 43-41.

The Upper Sandusky Athletic Boosters has announced the creation of the Jim Morrison Athletic Pass. All student-athletes who participated in a spring or fall sport, or are currently participating in a winter sport will receive the pass that will be good for the remainder of the school year.

FINDLAY — The third annual Northwest Ohio District Indoor Track and Field Invitational will be held Jan. 19 at the Malcom Athletic Center inside the Koehler Fitness and Recreation Complex at the University of Findlay. There will be awards for champion and runner-up teams.

The Lima Holiday Swim Invitational originally scheduled for Dec. 30 has been moved to 9 a.m. Dec. 28 at the Lima YMCA.

BUCYRUS — Colonel Crawford used a hot-shooting first half to build a big lead and then held on for its first win, 50-47, keeping Wynford winless Tuesday night in Northern 10 Athletic Conference girls basketball play.

CAREY — Carey scored the game’s first 22 points and ran away with a 56-16 victory against Mohawk on Tuesday night in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference girls basketball game. The Blue Devils (5-1, 2-1 N10) led 15-0 after one quarter. The Warriors (2-2, 1-2 N10) finally got on the board with an Anna Stillberger bucket in the second quarter but trailed 33-5 at halftime and 49-15 after three quarters.

MORRAL — Upper Sandusky senior guard Abigail Fogle has always enjoyed playing at the Ridgedale High School gymnasium. Tuesday was no exception. Fogle buried seven 3-pointers and matched her career high by scoring 33 points as the Upper Sandusky girls basketball team pummeled Ridgedale 68-20. Fogle passed 1996 Upper Sandusky High School graduate Erin (Falk) Minter for third on the program’s all-time scoring list.

ADA — Holding a 40-28 lead over Ada after three quarters, Riverdale looked to put things away in the fourth for an easy win in Tuesday night’s girls basketball contest. But the Lady Bulldogs put up a fight, going on a 7-2 run to close the gap to seven points before the Falcons regained control for a 60-43 win.

TIFFIN — Upper Sandusky’s boys and girls defeated Tiffin Columbian and Tiffin Calvert in a swim meet Tuesday at the Tiffin YMCA. The Rams girls won 92-60 over the Tornadoes and 90-46 over the Senecas, while the Rams boys were 97-49 winners against the Tornadoes and 96-44 winners against the Senecas.

SYCAMORE — Mohawk will host the Mohawk Wrestling Duals and Junior High tournament at 10 a.m. Saturday. Admission is good for both tournaments and is $8 for adults and $6 for students.
