BUCYRUS — Mohawk’s girls and Wynford’s boys won a Northern 10 Athletic Conference track and field tri-meet Saturday at Wynford. The Warriors girls won 77.5-43.5 over the Royals, with Ridgedale scoring 29 points.

MANSFIELD — Upper Sandusky swept Madison, 5-0, to improve to 2-0 on the boys tennis season Monday afternoon in Mansfield. Upper Sandusky rolled in all but the No. 1 singles match, which Clay Burger won in three sets.

MORRAL — Jenna Coffman and Bailey Alspach both doubled twice to lead Wynford to a 9-2 victory against Ridgedale in the Royals’ first game of the season Monday. Coffman added a single and three RBIs and scored three runs, while Alspach drove in three runs.

NORTH ROBINSON — Colonel Crawford rallied with a five-run sixth inning to beat Mohawk, 7-5, in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference softball game Monday. The Warriors (2-2, 1-1 N10) led 5-2 after five innings.

RAWSON — Riverdale scored eight runs in the final three innings but could not rally from Cory-Rawson’s 10-run fourth inning in a 12-8 softball loss in Blanchard Valley Conference play Monday. The Hornets (1-2, 1-0 BVC) scored once in the first inning, and that held as the only run until they exploded for 10 runs in the fourth.

CAREY — For the 17th time in the last 19 years, the Carey girls track team won the Blue Devil Relays, the relays event they host on their own track each year. Thanks to their five first-place finishes and seven second-place finishes in various events, the Blue Devils accumulated 135 points, 26 points higher than the second place team, Willard, at the Blue Devil Relays on Saturday at Carey High School.

BUCYRUS — Upper Sandusky’s girls were sixth to lead area teams Saturday in the Bucyrus Elks Invitational. Galion topped Ontario, 105-90.6, for the girls championship, while the Rams scored 47.6 points.

Upper Sandusky’s Arik Schneider threw a shutout in the first game, and Riverdale’s Jonathan Walter nearly did in the second game as the teams split a doubleheader with the Rams winning 12-0 and the Falcons following with a 7-1 victory Saturday.

Upper Sandusky got off to quick starts in both games of a home softball doubleheader sweep against Riverdale, 16-1 and 23-5, on Saturday. The Rams (2-1) jumped out to a 10-0 lead after two innings in the opener and then got six more runs in the third inning.

NORWALK — Marshall Stull picked up the pitching win and homered as Mohawk took an 11-7 victory after losing a 13-8 decision in the opener of a nonconference baseball doubleheader Saturday. The Warriors (2-2) jumped out to an 8-0 lead in the second game by scoring four times in the first inning, once in the second and three times in the third.
