Wenger believed to be first Upper girl to qualify for state swim meet In what is believed to be the first time in the history of the Upper Sandusky High School girls swimming program, junior Abbey Wenger has qualified to compete at the State Swimming and Diving Tournament. Wenger placed fifth in the 100 breaststroke at the district swimming meet and eventually learned that her time was fast enough to qualify her for the state meet that will begin at 5 p.m. Thursday at the C.T.
