Upper Sandusky senior Abigail Fogle signed her national letter of intent to play basketball at Ohio Northern University on Wednesday. “I really liked the campus when I went on my visit that week,” Fogle said.

WSHOF tickets on sale Friday

SYCAMORE — Wyandot Sports Hall of Fame banquet tickets will be sold Friday at the Upper Sandusky-Mohawk boys basketball game. The WSHOF banquet is 6 p.m. April 21 at the Masters’ Building at the Wyandot County Fairgrounds.

Bucyrus league to have meeting

BUCYRUS — The Bucyrus Softball Association will have a meeting for co-ed and men’s league for the upcoming summer at 6 p.m. Monday in city hall council chambers in Bucyrus. Anyone planning on having a team this year should attend.

Wrestling to be held March 18

The third annual Cory Washburn Memorial Wrestling Tournament is March 18 at Upper Sandusky Middle School, 390 W. Walker St., Upper Sandusky. Proceeds benefit the USMS eighth grade class trip to Washington, D.C.

NORTH ROBINSON — By the looks of things Tuesday night, Upper Sandusky has put its shooting slump far behind it at just the right time. The Rams put up 54 points in the first half on the way to an easy 71-41 victory at Colonel Crawford to wrap up the regular season.

Blue Devils dominate Tigers

CAREY — There may not have been a conference title or a postseason spot on the line, but that wasn’t evident during the Carey-Seneca East girls basketball game on Tuesday, the senior night and final game for Carey’s eight seniors. The Blue Devils led by 16 points at the half, forced 12 turnovers and held the Tigers to 23 total points in a 52-23 victory at Carey High School.
