BUCYRUS — A pair of two-run innings early were more than enough for Upper Sandusky. Arik Schneider threw a one-hitter and the Rams took a 4-1 baseball victory on Monday at Wynford.

BUCYRUS — Upper Sandusky’s girls rolled to first place in a track and field tri-meet Monday at Wynford. The Rams scored 102.5 points, with Colonel Crawford topping Wynford for second, 47-20.5.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Riverdale held on for a 4-3 victory against Pandora-Gilboa on Monday in a Blanchard Valley Conference baseball game. The Falcons (9-8, 6-3 BVC) got one run in the first inning and two in the fifth inning for a 3-0 lead.

BUCYRUS — Trey Bame pitched a two-hitter to pick up his eighth win of the season as Carey blanked Bucyrus, 6-0, on Monday in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference baseball game. Bame (8-0) struck out 11 for the Blue Devils (17-0, 13-0 N10). He also had two hits and two RBIs at the plate.

SYCAMORE — Mohawk jumped out early and ended its three-game losing streak with a 9-4 victory against Ridgedale in Northern 10 Athletic Conference baseball play Monday. The Warriors (7-9, 4-8 N10) scored one run in the second inning, two in the third inning, two in the fifth inning and then four in the sixth inning before the Rockets (13-6, 4-6 N10) ever got on the board.

SYCAMORE — Mohawk scored two runs each in the second, third, fourth and sixth innings to erase an early deficit and defeat Ridgedale, 8-3, on Monday in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference softball game. Ridgedale (8-10, 1-9 N10) scored two runs in the first inning and one in the second for a 3-0 lead.

Upper Sandusky snapped a losing streak by blanking Bucyrus, 5-0, in boys tennis Monday.

BUCYRUS — Despite sitting out many of its top athletes, the Carey girls track and field team won a tri-meet against Bucyrus and Ridgedale on Monday. The Blue Devils edged the Redmen, 64-58, with the Rockets scoring 36 points.
