Warriors get N10 road victory

NORTH ROBINSON — Mohawk was impressive in a 25-16, 25-21, 25-23 road sweep of Colonel Crawford on Monday night. The Eagles (9-6, 6-4 N10) entered on a four-match winning streak, including a sweep of Carey on Thursday, but the Warriors (12-3, 8-2 N10) won for the 10th time in their last 11 matches.

Rams’ Shasteen 9th, Weininger 12th

ONTARIO — Madelyn Shasteen was ninth and Adriane Weininger finished 12th to lead Upper Sandusky to a seventh-place finish Saturday in the Bill Brown Invitational at Ontario’s Marshall Park. Shasteen finished in 21:08.67, with Weininger crossing the finish line in 21:31.08.

Wynford boys finish 4th in county meet

GALION — Tim Chandler was ninth to lead Wynford’s boys to fourth place Saturday in the Crawford County Meet at Amman’s Park. Colonel Crawford’s boys and girls both won easily with 26 and 24 points, respectively.

Carey 2nd at Sycamore Springs

ARLINGTON — Carey was second in the Sycamore Springs Invitational on Saturday in preparation for this week’s sectional tournament that also will be held at Sycamore Springs. Lima Bath won it, 350-358, over Carey.

Carey wins all 4 races at home

CAREY — It was nice for Carey to be back on its home course and even better to come away champions in all four divisions Thursday in the Carey Run. The Blue Devils were forced off their home course while the new school building was under construction, but the race returned to Carey this year, with the varsity boys running away with a 16-53 advantage over Van Buren and the girls winning 23-34 over Riverdale.
