NORTH ROBINSON — Colonel Crawford shut down Upper Sandusky, 5-1, in a junior varsity baseball game Tuesday. Hunter Chamberlin, Peyton Hawk and Jaret Bricely had two hits apiece in the loss.

Riverdale girls capture Hardin County title

McGUFFEY — Riverdale’s girls track and field is Hardin County champions, finishing with a 135.5-104.5 advantage on Kenton in the county meet Tuesday at Upper Scioto Valley. Host USV topped Riverdale, 137-124.5, for first in the boys competition.

Berardinelli-Clark lifts Carey past Seneca East

CAREY — Carey softball scored three times in the first two innings, and it was enough to take a 3-2 victory against Seneca East on Tuesday. The Blue Devils (14-7, 8-3 Northern 10 Athletic Conference) got two runs in the first inning and one in the second.

Colonel Crawford wins with 3-run 6th inning

Colonel Crawford scored three times in the sixth inning to rally past Upper Sandusky, 4-2, in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference baseball game Tuesday. The Rams (13-10, 9-6 N10) took a 1-0 lead in the second inning before the Eagles (12-8, 7-5 N10) tied the game with a run in the fifth.

Royals close in on N10 title

NEW WASHINGTON — Wynford is a game away from clinching at least a share of the Northern 10 Athletic Conference baseball title after an 8-0 victory Tuesday at Buckeye Central. The Royals (14-5, 11-3 N10) jumped on Buckeye Central starter Jacob Shade for three runs in the second inning and then chased him from the game with a five-run fifth inning.

Mohawk scores 13 in 1st inning of rout

SYCAMORE — Mohawk sent 19 hitters to the plate in the first inning and scored 13 times on its way to a 21-1 non-conference softball victory against Upper Scioto Valley on Tuesday. The Warriors’ first 10 batters reached base before a hard lineout to shortstop finally got the Rams their first out.

Seneca East shuts out Carey

CAREY — Carey had more hits than Seneca East, but it did not produce more runs in a 3-0 loss in Northern 10 Athletic Conference play Tuesday. Drewe Tipple (3-1) surrendered eight hits and struck out five while earning a shutout.

Willard edges Upper tennis

WILLARD — Levi Hill pulled out a three-set victory at No. 2 singles to secure a 3-2 victory for Willard against Upper Sandusky in boys tennis Tuesday. Hill defeated Noah Frey, 7-6 (7-2), 4-6, 6-4.
