The Upper Sandusky “Little Lady Ram Spikers” summer volleyball camp is July 20-22 at Upper Sandusky High School. Camp will be held for students in third through fifth grades from 8-10 a.m. and for students in sixth through eighth grades from 10 a.m. to noon.

The Wyandot Sports Hall of Fame will host its fifth annual golf outing Aug. 20 at Bob’s Countryside Golf Course, 4204 Ohio 199, Carey. The outing is a four-person, 18-hole scramble with lunch included.

NEW WASHINGTON — Next Level Basketball 419 will host a basketball skills and drills camp from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 12-14 at Buckeye Central High School. The camp is open to boys and girls in fifth through 12th grade.

COLUMBUS — The Wyandot Boys 10-and-under baseball team was one pitch away twice from its first ever state title but it was not meant to be. The Wyandot Boys started off the state tournament at Berliner Park in Columbus with a 4-0 record.

Shuster’s Flowers scored nine times in the fourth inning to defeat Koehler Surveying, 16-11, in a girls slowpitch softball game last Monday.

BUCYRUS — When it mattered most, Kyle DeJean was at his best, and at his best, there were few better. Tiffin University liked the potential in Wynford’s 6-foot-4 left-handed pitcher, and DeJean on Tuesday committed to play baseball with the Dragons.
