CAREY — Keely Wentz hopes her second trip to the state cross country meet goes as well as her first one did. In fact, she’s planning on having it go exactly the same way.

CAREY — When Carey cross country coaches Dean and Nancy Kessler started with the program, Dean used to field questions about attending the state cross country meet. And he used to answer them all the same way.

Riverdale and Upper Sandusky both placed two players on the girls All-North Central Ohio Soccer Association first team released today. Riverdale junior forward Gabi Rodriguez and junior midfielder Reygan Frey and Upper Sandusky senior midfielders Sierra Carey and Grace Miller received the honor.

Riverdale senior defenders Kyle Evans and Josh Hunter and Upper Sandusky senior midfielder Cameron Brady were named to the boys All-North Central Ohio Soccer Association first team. Evans and Hunter helped the Falcons give up just 1.78 goals per match with three shutouts on the season.
