Upper Sandusky Dweazley’s Repeaters won, 13-12, on a walk-off single against Upper Sandusky Bookie’s Lawn Service in a SenSanWyan C League girls fastpitch softball game Friday at Harrison Smith Park.

The Upper Sandusky High School cheerleaders recently held the Universal Cheerleading Association Cheerleading Camp and received a superior rating. Danielle Thiel won the jump off.

WALDO — Upper Sandusky’s Owen Knapp was sixth and Jacob Beaschler was seventh in the 13-15 division of the Heart of Ohio Junior Golf Association tournament Thursday at Kings Mill Golf Course near Waldo. Knapp shot a 48 on the front nine and a 49 on the back nine for a 97 that included four pars.

Upper Sandusky football camp is set for 2-4 p.m. June 21-23 at the high school football field. The camp for students entering grades 4-6 costs $30, which includes a T-shirt.

FOSTORIA — Five Carey football players will play of the West as part of the 34th annual Sunny Farms Landfill East-West All-Star Football Game at 7 p.m. Saturday at Fostoria Memorial Stadium. The Blue Devils’ Garrett Billock, Devon Orwick, Xaxi Boes, Jon Racheter and Gavin Woods are among the 85 graduated seniors from 29 different schools slated to take part.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — The Mark Gillfillan 5K Memorial Run/Walk will be held at 7 p.m. June 23 at Riverdale Schools. Pre-registration is $15 with a shirt and $12 without.

SYCAMORE — The Wyandot County Pheasants Forever and Rogers Lake Conservation Club are sponsoring free youth trap shoots for boys and girls 18 and younger at 6 p.m. June 29 and July 13 at Rogers Lake, 1748 Ohio 103, Sycmaore.

ASHLAND — Harpster native Brett Montgomery, who will be a sophomore at Upper Sandusky, finished fifth in his division and tied for 39th overall in the Ohio Junior Golf Championships on Tuesday and Wednesday at Ashland Golf Club.
