SYCAMORE — The Mohawk boys basketball and volleyball teams are hosting a four-person golf scramble fundraiser with a 9 a.m. shotgun start Aug. 6 at Clinton Heights Golf Course near Tiffin. The cost is $200 per team and includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, lunch at “The Turn,” a starter gift for each player and a chicken dinner catered by Bone Boys’ Barbecue following the scramble.

SYCAMORE — Tickets are on sale for the Mohawk reverse raffle to be held Aug. 19 at the Sycamore Community Center. The raffle’s grand prize is as much as $8,000 with a total payout of as much as $12,000.

CAREY — Carey High School is looking for a junior high volleyball coach and a freshman volleyball coach. If interested, contact Athletic Director Kent Asher at kasher@careyevs.org.

The Upper Sandusky High School boys and girls soccer alumni games are Saturday with the girls game starting at 10 a.m. and the boys game at noon. All USHS soccer alumni are invited to participate and should arrive 30 minutes prior to the start time.

TIFFIN — The Northern Ohio Storm 12-and-under and 13U tournament baseball teams will have tryouts for the 2018 season from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Hedges Boyer Park on the D League Field at the top of the hill. 12U players cannot turn 13 and 13U players cannot turn 14 before May 1, 2018.

TIFFIN — The Tiffin Area Football Officials will be conducting a class to license individuals to officiate OHSAA football. The class will begin in late July with registration needed as soon as possible.

Sign-ups for Midget League Football cheerleading are 6-8 p.m. today at the Upper Sandusky Fire Department. Players and cheerleaders must be at least 9 years old and no older than 12 by Aug. 1.

Upper Sandusky High School will host a fall sports parent meeting at 7 p.m. July 24 in the gym. Parents of all fall sports athletes except golf are expected to attend.
