Otsego has wild no-hitter over Riverdale

TONTOGANY — Rancin Loftis and the bullpen were effectively wild in a no-hit 9-2 Otsego victory against Riverdale in a non-conference baseball game Tuesday. Despite being no-hit, the Falcons (9-11) had 12 baserunners via walks and hit batters, but managed only two runs in the sixth inning after falling behind 8-0.

Carey rallies with 5-run inning

CAREY — Carey scored five times in the fourth inning and took a 7-4 victory against Bucyrus in a home Northern 10 Athletic Conference baseball game Tuesday. The Redmen (10-14, 5-10 N10) had a 3-1 lead after scoring two runs in the top of the fourth inning.

Upper closes with 3-2 win over Ada

Upper Sandusky swept doubles action, and Chad Mostoller picked up a win at No. 3 singles to help the Rams to a 3-2 victory over Ada to close out their boys tennis regular season Monday. At No. 1 doubles, seniors Nate Hensel and Turner Dilley won, 6-1, 7-5, over Evan Smittle and Nathan Hurtig, winning the last six games to close out the match in two sets.

Seneca East clinches N10 title outright

ATTICA — With the game tied, Seneca East scored three times in the bottom of the sixth inning and held off Carey, 8-5, to clinch the Northern 10 Athletic Conference baseball title outright Monday. The Blue Devils (8-7, 6-5 N10) had just scored three runs in the top of the sixth to make it 5-5.

Royals double up Bucks, 6-3, in N10 game

NEW WASHINGTON — Wynford built a lead and held on for a 6-3 victory at Buckeye Central in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference baseball game Monday. The Royals (8-11, 7-6 N10) scored once in the second inning, three times in the fourth inning and two times in the top of the seventh before the Bucks (7-17, 2-13 N10) scored all of their runs in the bottom of the seventh.

Eagles score late runs to top Rams, 5-2

NORTH ROBINSON — Colonel Crawford’s offense came to life for five runs in its final two innings at the plate in a 5-2 victory against Upper Sandusky in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference baseball game Monday. The Eagles (12-9, 8-7 N10) scored three times in the fifth inning and answered the Rams’ two runs in the top of the sixth with two in the bottom.
