Warriors squeeze past Streaks, 5-4

SYCAMORE — When Mohawk needs a run in a tournament game, coach Eric Hoover seems to have a favorite play — and for good reason. RIDGEWAY — Leading Ridgemont by just one going into the final inning, Wynford was looking for some insurance runs, and that’s exactly what it found. The Royals racked up seven runs on five hits against the Gophers in the half inning, helping them to a 14-6 Division IV sectional baseball final win Thursday.
