CAREY — As usual, Sydney Kin led Carey in kills on Thursday night, putting down 15 of them in the Blue Devils’ 25-15, 25-11, 25-17 victory against Upper Sandusky. But with Carey struggling a little bit early, it was another senior who got it going. Hannah Zimmerman had five of her nine kills during an 11-0 run that set the tone for the rest of the match.

KENTON — Andrew Kuenzli shot a 40 to lead Riverdale to a 212-235 victory against Ridgemont in a non-conference boys golf match Thursday at Kenton Veterans Memorial Golf Course.

TIFFIN — Logan Drum and Drew Lininger both shot 43s to medal and lead Mohawk to a 180-203 victory against Wynford in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference boys golf match Thursday at Seneca Hills Golf Club.

TIFFIN — Abby Underwood shot a 51 to medal and lead Wynford to a 233-243 victory against Mohawk in a girls golf match Thursday at Seneca Hills Golf Course.

NORTH ROBINSON — Destini Oler and Madi Chester each had 11 kills to lead Mohawk to a 25-13, 24-26, 25-16, 25-21 victory against Colonel Crawford in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference volleyball match Thursday.

MORRAL — Wynford earned a relatively easy sweep of Ridgedale, 25-10, 25-22, 25-13, in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference volleyball match Thursday evening.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Reygan Frey scored the tying goal with 1:15 remaining, but Elida answered with only 35 seconds remaining to take a 2-1 girls soccer victory over Riverdale on Wednesday evening.

Fans attending Upper Sandusky High School varsity football home games are encouraged to park in the USHS parking lot. Parking also is available on the grass area at the northeast side of the stadium field.

Riverdale took first place in the large varsity at the Holgate cheer competition.
