Safety Blotter: August 29, 2015

Cedeania M. Troike, Fostoria, was warned for speed the morning of July 27 after a traffic stop on Indian Mill Drive east of North Sandusky Avenue. A wallet was reported found the morning of July 27 at Harrison Smith Park.

Safety Blotter: August 28, 2015

Timothy L. Stansbery, Upper Sandusky, was arrested the evening of July 24 on a warrant issued out of Wyandot County Common Pleas Court Juvenile Division for failure to appear and/or comply with previous orders of the court. He originally was charged with non-compliance for child support.

Safety Blotter: August 27, 2015

An employee of Subway on West Wyandot Avenue reported the theft of an approximately 10-foot sign pole the morning of July 21. Officers responded to a report of vandalism to a vehicle parked at a business in the 1000 block of North Warpole Street the afternoon of July 21.

Safety Blotter: August 24, 2015

Dylan Mallery, Upper Sandusky, was cited for expired plates and no operator’s license the night of July 19 after a traffic stop at the intersection of West Walker and Hazel streets. Rachel Ekleberry, Upper Sandusky was cited for wrongful entrustment.

PD responds to calls

Jennifer L. Norville, New Riegel, was arrested the afternoon of July 17 on a warrant from the Fostoria Police Department. She was transported to the Wyandot County Jail until Fostoria law enforcement could take custody of her.

Safety Blotter: August 21, 2015

A Carey man arrived at the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office to pick up firearms that previously had been recovered. The firearms were reported as stolen by the Butler County Sheriff’s Office. The matter remained under investigation.
