Sheriff Michael R. Hetzel has released his activity report for the month of April:
Nicholas B. Lovejoy, Cleveland, was transported to the Wyandot County Jail after being arrested the evening of April 24 on a warrant issued by Wyandot County Common Pleas Court for absconding supervision. A caller in the 100 block of North Main Street, Nevada, reported the morning of April 25 an unknown person threw a rock at his business and broke a window pane.
A caller in the 6000 block of Ohio 103 reported the morning of April 22 the Wheeling Lake Erie Railroad had cut brush and trees along its line located at the rear of his farm and left the brush in his field. A deputy spoke with a railroad representative, who said she would have someone contact the complainant.
Tony A. Montgomery Jr., Mansfield, was transported to Correctional Reception Center, Orient, the morning of April 21 to serve a 30-month prison sentence after being found guilty of drug abuse in Wyandot County Common Pleas Court.
A private property crash was reported the afternoon of April 19 in the 100 block of Ohio 53, McCutchenville. An assault to a juvenile was reported the evening of April 19 in the 8000 block of Ohio 294, Harpster.
Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office Carmen L. White, Lima, was traveling northbound on Ohio 67 south of TH 42 the morning of April 19 when she struck a deer that entered the roadway.
Ralph O. Cook, Marion, was arrested April 18 by the Marion Police Department on a warrant for aggravated possession of drugs out of Wyandot County Common Pleas Court. Jamie L. Whitaker, Kenton, was arrested the morning of April 18 on a grand jury indictment for one count of aggravated possession of drugs and one count of possession of drugs.
A caller in the 5000 block of TH 36, Sycamore, reported he knocked a candle over after falling asleep and burnt his hand the evening of April 17. A man in the 100 block of Cass Street, Wharton, reported the afternoon of April 17 he was receiving threats from a known subject.
A missing juvenile was reported the morning of April 16 in the 200 block of Kilbourn Street, Sycamore. A deputy discovered there was a miscommunication between the parents and the child had spent the night at a friend’s house.
