Markese S. Allen, Detroit, was cited for speed, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia on U.S. 23 near milepost 8, Pitt Township, the evening of April 23. A deputy responded to an alarm at a business in the 2700 block of CH 330, Eden Township, the night of April 23.

Emaya H. Sutton, Toledo, was cited for possession of marijuana, speed and a seatbelt violation on U.S. 23 near CH 4, Salem Township, the night of April 22. Scott E. Benson, Nevada, was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated after a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 30 the night of April 22.

An officer responded to a report of kids playing on a 911 line the afternoon of April 10. The officer explained to the children in the 600 block of Pleasentview Avenue when it is OK to call 911.

Timonthy A. Cole, Nevada, was traveling north on TH 124 near CH 330 the evening of April 14 when he struck a deer crossing the roadway.

An Upper Sandusky woman reported losing approximately $1,000 after sending online checks in what became an online scam the morning of March 31. The officer attempted to contact the numbers used to contact the woman.

A 22-year-old Marion woman called the sheriff’s office the afternoon of April 14 to report that her grandfather was blocking the driveway to his Salem Township home with his truck, refusing to let her leave the residence where she had been staying.
