SYCAMORE — The cause of a fire that destroyed a Sycamore business on Monday morning remains under investigation by the Ohio Fire Marshal’s Office. The state Fire Marshal’s Office arrived at the scene of the fire at Terry’s Market, 106 N. Sycamore Ave., just before noon Monday.

The city of Upper Sandusky will host an open house Thursday for the review of plans and questions regarding the installation of storm and sanitary sewers. Slow internet speeds at Angeline School and Industries due to damage from a recent storm has the county considering chopping its way through the woods. SYCAMORE — The Mohawk Board of Education reviewed the creation of a new fund aimed at constantly having money available for retiring teachers in the school budget Monday night. The July treasurer’s report informed the board of the creation of the termination benefits fund.

SYCAMORE — A Sycamore business that has spanned four decades in the village was a complete loss this morning in a large fire to which six area fire departments responded.

A Columbus man and a man from Warren County in southwest Ohio are in custody after police in Upper Sandusky located more than 70 pounds of marijuana edibles in their vehicle over the weekend.
