Sheriff releases incident reports

A deputy responded to a 911 call from an intoxicated man in the 17000 block of Ohio 231, Nevada, the night of July 5. The deputy learned from the owner of the residence that the man, a live-in friend, had been drinking with neighbors and came home very drunk.

USCL to get 4 new computers

The children’s section of the Upper Sandusky Community Library soon will have four new computers after approval Thursday by the library’s board of trustees. Library director Kathleen Whitt said the library has seen an increase in computer use among children for doing homework and playing games, but the computers being used for those purposes are in an adult-focused area of the library.
