Coats for Christmas

NEVADA — Village officials agreed at Monday night’s Nevada council meeting the Christmas parade held two weekends ago was a success. “I want to thank all the citizens that lined the streets,” councilman Jeffrey Kindler said. “That amazed me.”

2 vehicles vandalized in Wharton

WHARTON — Two vehicles were damaged on North Cass Street, Wharton, late Saturday night. The back window of Randall D. Grubbs’ 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt was shattered, and a “softball-sized rock” was laying in the front seat when he picked up his vehicle Sunday afternoon after it had been parked at his father-in-law’s residence overnight, according to a report from the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office.
