Paul Wagner auctions off items for a crowd at the old M.J. Mugsy’s restaurant in downtown Upper Sandusky on Monday. The restaurant closed in January 2016 after 23 years in business.

Upper Boy Scouts raising funds for trip

Eight members of Boy Scout Troop No. 125 in Upper Sandusky will head to Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico this summer and they need your help to get there. Each scout ages 14-17 needs $1,650 to go on the trip and the troop is raising funds to help offset the cost.

Upper man graduates from ag leader program

COLUMBUS — Nate Bair of Upper Sandusky is one of 24 farmers and agribusiness professionals who recently graduated from Ohio Farm Bureau Federation’s AgriPOWER Leadership Institute Class VIII. The intensive, yearlong training program helps participants become effective community leaders and advocates for agriculture.
