An Upper Sandusky man was sentenced to prison Monday after he pleaded guilty to two third-degree felonies in Wyandot County Common Pleas Court. Christopher M. Johnson, 38, pleaded guilty to charges of grand theft and burglary in regards to an incident that occurred on CH 97 near Ohio 53.

Upper Sandusky police are investigating after someone broke into A & A Groceries and stole $630 in cash during the weekend. Gary Ault, owner of the market in the 200 block of North Sandusky Avenue, called police shortly after the store opened at 7 a.m. Sunday to report the break-in, police reports show.

A Massillon man was injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Crane Township on Saturday night. Anthony T. Cecchini, 18, was traveling south on U.S. 23 near mile post 9 in a 1989 Mercedes-Benz about 9:18 p.m. when the car slid off the right side of the road, hit an embankment and rolled onto its top, according to a Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office report.
