A driver and passenger in a head-on auto collision on Ohio 67 were transported via Life Flight to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, and the other driver was taken to Wyandot Memorial Hospital on Thursday night, according to a report from the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office.

An Upper Sandusky woman accused of assaulting city police and Wyandot County corrections officers is facing felony charges. Morgan R. Flowers, 22, did not enter a plea during an arraignment Thursday in Wyandot County Common Pleas Court.

Upper Sandusky area mail carriers won’t just be making deliveries Saturday, but they also will pick up food items for people in need. The letter carriers ask that postal customers in the city of Upper Sandusky and some surrounding rural communities leave non-perishable food items near their mailboxes Saturday.

LOVELL — Six local artists gathered for the first Art Connections autograph session Thursday at Lovell Market. Since the opening of the store, artwork from Art Connections in Carey has been on display for patrons to admire and the artists from the studio used an autograph meet and greet session to remind the public that the art is for sale and to show off jewelry that also was available for purchase.

Austin D. Bratten, Carey, was cited for speed on Ohio 53 near CH 44, Crane Township, early the morning of April 28. A passenger, Jessie R. Jeffrey, Carey, was cited for possession of marijuana paraphernalia.

Fairhaven Community partnered with Wyandot County Home Health to expand physical therapy services from the Upper Sandusky nursing facility to patients’ homes. Under the new contract, Fairhaven therapy patients can continue their rehab at home, in most cases with the same therapists.

Multiple Wyandot County residences were without power Monday evening after a single-vehicle crash damaged a power pole and disconnected electricity. Andrew Manzi, Upper Sandusky, was cited for operating a motor vehicle without control after losing control of his vehicle while traveling over railroad tracks on CH 49 west of North Warpole Street around 7 p.m. Monday.

Lincoln Way Animal Hospital has welcomed Dr. Mallory Lynne Titler on staff. A native of Grass Lake, Michigan, Titler graduated from University of Findlay in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in animal science before attending Ohio State University, where she graduated in 2014 with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and a Master of Science with a dairy focus.
