3 injured in Wyandot County crash

A driver and passenger in a head-on auto collision on Ohio 67 were transported via Life Flight to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, and the other driver was taken to Wyandot Memorial Hospital on Thursday night, according to a report from the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office.

Art Connections artists host meet and greet event

LOVELL — Six local artists gathered for the first Art Connections autograph session Thursday at Lovell Market. Since the opening of the store, artwork from Art Connections in Carey has been on display for patrons to admire and the artists from the studio used an autograph meet and greet session to remind the public that the art is for sale and to show off jewelry that also was available for purchase.

Upper teen crashes into pole, knocks out power

Multiple Wyandot County residences were without power Monday evening after a single-vehicle crash damaged a power pole and disconnected electricity. Andrew Manzi, Upper Sandusky, was cited for operating a motor vehicle without control after losing control of his vehicle while traveling over railroad tracks on CH 49 west of North Warpole Street around 7 p.m. Monday.

Adam and Rachel Leightey were happy to expand their business and move it out of their home. They recently purchased Simply Flooring and Fireplace from John and Sara Houpt and stepped into a space at 115 E. Fairview St. that is three times larger than their garage.

Lincoln Way welcomes new veterinarian

Lincoln Way Animal Hospital has welcomed Dr. Mallory Lynne Titler on staff. A native of Grass Lake, Michigan, Titler graduated from University of Findlay in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in animal science before attending Ohio State University, where she graduated in 2014 with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and a Master of Science with a dairy focus.
