Wyandot high school FFA members receive chapter degrees at joint event This year, Carey FFA hosted the degree award event on Feb. 6 with 46 FFA members from Carey, Mohawk, Riverdale, and Upper Sandusky receiving their Chapter Degree. Changes may lead to cut in Mohawk funds SYCAMORE — The Mohawk Board of Education was told Monday evening that the district’s finances were on track for the current school year, but the school could see a change in the coming years. Nevada vacates alleys to allow for Mennco project NEVADA — Nevada Council gave approval Monday night during its meeting to vacate two alleys, which will allow Mennco Grain to move forward with plans to add a new grain bin that will double the location’s capacity. One alley is located between two separate parcels owned by the company, and the other is located behind the business alongside railroad tracks. Read More
