Speedway West adding diesel pumps

The Speedway west location at 1605 E. Wyandot Ave. at the intersection with the southbound U.S. 23 ramp is adding three diesel fuel lanes for commercial vehicles. Construction on a 44,000-square-foot lot is expected to be completed by late August, according to project superintendent Tim Ashley of River Cities Builders Inc.

Findlay-Hancock Chamber to honor former Commercial Bancshares CEO

FINDLAY — Robert E. Beach will be recognized as the honorary chairman at the 50th annual Findlay-Hancock County Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament on Aug. 28 at the Findlay Country Club. Beach has more than 30 years of banking experience and recently retired as the president and CEO of Commercial Bancshares Inc. and the Commercial Savings Bank, where he served since November 2007.

Gas leak

Upper Sandusky firefighters and emergency medical services responded to the corner area of North Seventh and West Church streets after a crew working on an ongoing storm sewer separation project hit a residential gas line Tuesday morning.
