K of C fish fries to benefit nonprofits

Knights of Columbus Council No. 2050 has been serving up fish every Friday during the Lenten season for 25 years. Initially for members only, the weekly fish fries have been open to the public for several years, drawing in hundreds of people and raising money the group gives back in part to the community.

Mohawk HS student grabs teacher, school official says

SYCAMORE — A Mohawk High School student is facing possible disciplinary action after school officials say he forcibly grabbed and cussed out a female teacher Thursday afternoon. The teacher was checked out by a school nurse as a precaution, but she was not injured, Principal Brett Graham said this morning.
