34 USHS students participate in state FFA competitions This spring, 34 students from the Upper Sandusky FFA competed in the State Spring Career Development Event Contests, or CDEs. This year Upper Sandusky had seven different contest areas that students participated in: Agronomy, Horse Judging, General Livestock, Nature Interpretation, Poultry, Wildlife Management, and Dairy Cattle. St. Peter School receives $2K from Wyandot Wildlife Conservation Club for archery courses The students at St. Peter School will be the beneficiaries of a donation given to the school Friday. USMS teacher to retire after 40 years in the classroom After 40 years in education and 35 years teaching math at Upper Sandusky Middle School, Sharon Calvin will retire at the end of May. “I’m just getting tired,” Calvin said. “Forty years is enough.” A Bluffton College graduate, Calvin taught for five years at Jackson Center Schools before coming to Upper Sandusky.
