Carey Council approves resolution needed to move forward with electric substation project CAREY — Carey Council finally passed a resolution required by the federal Economic Development Agency to ensure it has funds set aside to pay for an ongoing electric substation rebuild. Upper school board OKs new hires The Upper Sandusky Exempted Village Schools Board of Education made some new hires at Monday evening’s board meeting, including Corrina Waggy as high school assistant principal. Carbon monoxide detected at Upper hotel Upper Sandusky firefighters evacuated two rooms at Quality Inn on Monday morning after elevated levels of carbon monoxide were detected in a first-floor laundry room.
