Verne Hart has Upper ribbon cutting

After 61 years of business in Marion, Verne Hart Insurance expanded for the first time with its Upper Sandusky location this past month. It celebrated the expansion with a ribbon cutting ceremony and a special open house this past Thursday, offering coffee and pastries in the morning and brisket and pulled pork from The Corner Inn for lunch to anyone that stopped by.

Giving back

Carey McDonald’s manager Haley Hickham (right) presents a $500 check to Angeline Schools and Industries Superintendent Todd Dilley. The funds were generated during the grand reopening of the location as a way of giving back to the community.

The Wyandot County Pheasants Forever conservation organization presented a $500 donation to the Seneca County Opportunity Center (SCOC) Tuesday at the SCOC facility. Terry Reinhart, a prominent member of WCPF, passed away suddenly this past fall and one of his family’s donation requests was to SCOC.
