SYCAMORE — Two Sycamore residents have pending drug trafficking charges following a drug sweep Sunday afternoon. A press release from the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office states the Wyandot County Major Crimes Unit served a search warrant at 3:03 p.m. Sunday to 309 1/2 E. Seventh St., Sycamore.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — With overcrowding becoming an issue on Riverdale school buses, steps are being taken by the district to resolve the issue. Around 550 students — about half Riverdale’s enrollment — currently are being transported by the school’s buses.

The following people have been nominated in Local Administrative Area 1 in Wyandot County to serve as a committee member. LAA No. 1 consists of Crawford, Ridge, Tymochtee and Sycamore townships.
