The Wyandot County Council on Aging held its monthly Donuts with Directors meeting Wednesday at the Mohawk Historical Society in Sycamore. Area seniors had the opportunity to meet with COA directors and discuss upcoming events and more.

Doctor moves practice to WMH

Dr. Mei-Chiew Lai

Physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist Mei-Chiew Lai, M.D., has moved his practice to Wyandot County and has office hours each Monday and Tuesday at Wyandot Memorial Hospital. Lai has cared for patients at the hospital’s Specialty Healthcare Center since 1986.

North Central Electric refunds over $700,000 to its members

ATTICA — North Central Electric Cooperative has refunded over $700,000 in patronage capital credits to nearly 11,600 former and current members starting in early December. At its November meeting, the NCE board of trustees approved a patronage capital credit refund of $715,947, marking the 39th consecutive year the cooperative has retired capital credits to current and former members.
