Geremy Van Arkel, CFA of Frontier Asset Management, was the headline speaker Tuesday morning for the Economic Forecast Breakfast at Trinity Evangelical Church. Van Arkel spoke about the history of U.S. economic growth, the current state of the economy and the assets versus stocks.

SWCDs to host soil health and cover crop workshop

The Wyandot and Hardin county Soil and Water Conservation Districts are hosting a Soil Health and Cover Crop workshop from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 15 at the Wyandot EMS Building, 401 N. Warpole St., Upper Sandusky. During the morning part of the workshop, participants will hear from Jim Hoorman, who is a regional soil health specialist from the northwest region of Ohio and Michigan, Natural Resources Conservation Service.
