USHS grad trying out for ‘The Voice’

Dreaming big featured

An Upper Sandusky High School graduate will test his luck on the national stage this weekend. Todd Stansbery, 31, a 2008 graduate of USHS, is taking off from work at 4 p.m. today and driving to Nashville, Tennessee with his mom, grandfather and girlfriend to try out for “The Voice,” a national singing competition that airs on NBC.

Participants show off their covered hangers from the “Hanging Out” session Thursday night at the Upper Sandusky Community Library that was hosted by instructors Barb Walton and Heidi McClane from Sew Nice. Participants used sewing machines to create their decorative hangers.

Men facing drug charges

Two area men were arrested Tuesday following an investigation by the Wyandot County Major Crimes Unit on charges related to drugs. The Major Crimes Unit reported it learned Andrew Kuenzli, 28, Upper Sandusky, was actively engaged in trafficking drugs.
