Mohawk High School seniors receive $70,000 in total scholarships SYCAMORE — Mohawk High School held its 2019 senior awards assembly and senior art showcase Tuesday. Safety blotter: May 8, 2019 A caller reported a reckless driver southbound on Ohio 53 near the Wyandot County Fairgrounds the morning of May 3. Funding available to seed hay for forage through this month The Ohio Department of Agriculture, in partnership with Crawford Soil and Water Conservation District, is providing funding for farmers to establish forages for hay production to protect water quality in the western basin of Lake Erie. The Ohio Working Lands program provides incentive payments to producers to establish, maintain and harvest forage and hay lands on eligible cropland acres. This one-time sign up ends this May. City council honors USHS swimmers Upper Sandusky High School’s swimmers were honored at Monday’s Upper Sandusky City Council meeting. The girls medley relay team of Maya Collins, Kamryn Swartz, Abbey Wenger and Katie Conley advanced to the state competition during the winter sports season. Wenger also individually qualified for state in the 100 breaststroke. All four girls were given certificates at the council meeting. Read More
