Kirby approves revenue estimate At its July monthly council meeting, Kirby Village Council approved its estimate of revenues for the 2020 budget. Clerk treasurer, Darl Snyder said the estimates are very similar year to year. The village started 2019 with $28,476.27 in the general fund. Read More

Independence Day festivities happening around Wyandot County A rededication reading of the Declaration of Independence is noon Thursday at John Green Cemetery near Harpster. Amy Kriebel will read the Declaration of Independence and attendees are invited to bring a picnic lunch, blanket, card table, etc., to enjoy after the reading. The cemetery is located just off Prospect-Upper Sandusky Road on the east side, approximately 7.9 miles north of Big Island or approximately two miles south of Harpster. Look for the American flag on a power pole. In the event of rain, the reading will be held at the firehouse in Morral.
