Independence Day festivities continue around Wyandot County The Fireworks Festival is 6-9 p.m. today at First Baptist Church, 590 Houpt Drive, Upper Sandusky. The festival is free and includes carnival games, face painting and a bounce house. Carnival snacks will be available for free and hot dogs will be available for purchase. Safety blotter: July 5, 2019 The Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office advised of a reckless driver heading westbound on East Wyandot Avenue near Dollar General the morning of July 3. The responding officer was unable to locate the vehicle. An officer on patrol located a disabled semi-tractor trailer on North Sandusky Avenue at Church Street the morning of July 3. The driver of the vehicle advised he was lost and the officer gave him directions for his destination. Read More
