Upper Sandusky Police Department Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Broadview Street the early morning of Aug. 1. The residents of an apartment were given prosecutor referral forms and told to contact the office if they wished to press charges in the future. All parties were told to settle down and warned for disorderly conduct.

TIFFIN — Today, the first of five phases of the Neon Sign Restoration project begins to take shape at the Tiffin Drive-In Theater. Neon Artist, Michael Flechtner, a Tiffin native now living in Los Angeles, will begin installing the left vertical “Star Banner” of the 60 foot by 60 foot neon sign which originally graced the west side of the drive-in theater’s screen in 1949.

CAREY — A ribbon cutting was held on Wednesday for the new Carey Medical and Diagnostic Center at its location, 930 Sheriden Drive in Carey. The new center, a division of the Blanchard Valley Health System, opens Aug. 5.
