COLUMBUS — State Rep. Riordan McClain (R-Upper Sandusky) recently announced upcoming office hours. These office hours are open to constituents throughout Wyandot, Crawford and Morrow counties, as well as those from the portions of Marion and Seneca counties that McClain serves.

Officers responded to a fire alarm at Fairhaven the early morning of July 12. No fire was observed and the scene was secured by the fire department. An officer on patrol observed a disabled vehicle on the 1500 block of East Wyandot Avenue the afternoon of July 12. The driver advised the vehicle’s transmission was out and a tow truck was on the way.

Criminal Kerry E. McKitrick, Carey, charged by the state with petty theft, pretrial held, continued to July 29. Steven J. Schlack, Carey, charged by the Carey police with domestic violence, pretrial held.

HARPSTER — Wyandot County first responders had the opportunity to receive special training Friday thanks to a local business.

Several non-clinical departments of Wyandot Memorial Hospital will start the process of relocation to a hospital owned space at 245 Tarhe Trail, Upper Sandusky, starting this month, according to Ann Kemerley, who handles public relations at WMH.
