Health department gives report for June Kelli J. Owens, registrar of vital statistics at the Wyandot County Health Department, reports there were no births and 13 deaths in the county during June. Herring serving on state fair junior fair board COLUMBUS — A Harpster resident will temporarily make the Ohio State Fair, which starts Wednesday, her home while she serves on the junior fair board. Rachael Herring, a 2019 Upper Sandusky High School graduate, explained that she is in her second year of a two-year program with the junior fair board. She said she was selected through Girl Scouts to serve on the junior fair board. Several different organizations, she explained, select representatives to serve on the junior fair board including Girl Scouts, 4-H, FFA, Technology Education, Grange and Scouts BSA. Read More
