MOUNT BLANCHARD — The Riverdale Local School District now has brought together a set of unified logos to be used on athletic uniforms and apparel. At the regular monthly board meeting Monday, Riverdale Superintendent Jeff Young said there was a need in the district to have a different logo.

McCUTCHENVILLE — Trinity United Church of Christ in McCutchenville is hosting its Baked Steak Dinner from 5-7 p.m. Oct. 12. The menu includes baked steak, mashed potatoes, dressing, gravy, coleslaw, corn, rolls, butter and drinks.

First responders were called to the scene of a a truck roll-over just after 8 a.m. Tuesday on US 23 north and near Ohio 44. A spokesperson for the Ohio State Highway Patrol said one trailer, pulled by a truck pulling two trailers, overturned.

NEVADA — An Upper Sandusky man announced his candidacy for Ohio State Senate Saturday afternoon at a fundraiser hosted by the Wyandot County Democratic Party. Craig Swartz, a former Upper Sandusky City Council member, announced he was running to represent the 26th District of the Ohio General Assembly for the Ohio 2020 election during the Wyandot County Democratic Party fundraiser at the White Shutter Winery.

Veterans silently guarded a casket draped with the American flag Saturday morning and early afternoon. The casket represents the 22 U.S. veterans who commit suicide each day on average.

Jordan, Kenton, was arrested on a warrant from Upper Sandusky Municipal Court the morning of Sept. 27. Robert C. Harden, Marion, was arrested on a warrant out of Upper Sandusky Municipal Court the afternoon of Sept. 27.
