Restoration begins on Tiffin Drive-In Neon Sign TIFFIN — Today, the first of five phases of the Neon Sign Restoration project begins to take shape at the Tiffin Drive-In Theater. Neon Artist, Michael Flechtner, a Tiffin native now living in Los Angeles, will begin installing the left vertical “Star Banner” of the 60 foot by 60 foot neon sign which originally graced the west side of the drive-in theater’s screen in 1949. Vets Day at county fair moved to Wednesday The Wyandot County Veterans Service Commission discussed how to best inform area veterans about a change at the Wyandot County Fair for 2019. Veterans Day at the fair will be Wednesday during fair week this year instead of Tuesday. Wyandot County Veterans Service Officer Theresa Miller said it is a big deal to get the word out about the move to Wednesday because she didn’t want to see a bunch of veterans showing up Tuesday since that’s when the day had been celebrated in the past.
