Triple threat: Tyson triplets take top three spots in showmanship division When the Tyson triplets, Nick, Landen and Conner, entered the arena for Junior Show Swine Showmanship in the beginner division, they didn’t expect the outcome would be the three of them in the first, second and third places. The three, age 11, are now in their second year of taking pigs to the fair, something they picked up from their cousins Jarod Fox and Grace Fox. Lightning only thing to slow down Tigers GALION — Upper Sandusky was slow getting to the football field on Friday night opening the game with an unsportsmanlike penalty as it failed to get out of the locker room on time. It may have been a telling sign of things to come as the Rams appeared overmatched against Galion in nonconference play on Friday night. The Tigers were ahead 42-0 with 7:57 to go in the second quarter thanks to a dominant offense and stingy defense that forced two turnovers before the skies lit up and thunder rumbled in the distance, causing both teams to head to the locker rooms and fans to take cover in their vehicles. Ekleberry recognized at Senior Day Sycamore resident Clara “Mickey” Ekleberry was honored Thursday morning in the Masters’ Building as the Wyandot County Senior Citizen of the Year as part of Senior Day festivities at the Wyandot County Fair.
