The Star Players’ musical production of “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” opens April 29 and runs for one weekend only. Charles Groth, who has performed the show in other venues, returns to the stage in dual capacity as actor and director.

FINDLAY — For the 11th show of its inaugural season, the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts invites audiences to create “Broadway’s Next H!T Musical” at 7:30 p.m. May 5. Every song will be fresh, every scene will be new, and this show will be different because it will be improvised using suggestions from the audience.
