ADA — The Ohio Northern University Wind Orchestra will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 14 in the university’s Freed Center for the Performing Arts. The Wind Orchestra, under the direction of Thomas A. Hunt, Ph.D., will perform a program of standard literature for winds and percussion, including works from Percy Grainger, Gustav Holst, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Samuel Barber and John Williams.

TIFFIN — The Ritz Players will present “Elvis People” at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Oct. 15 and 2 p.m. Oct. 16 at The National Theatre at The Ritz, 30 S. Washington St., Tiffin.

FINDLAY — The Arts Partnership presents “Lightwire Theater in The Ugly Duckling,” an electroluminescent puppet and dance show at 7 p.m. Oct. 18 at the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts in Findlay. In an age when technology seems to provide many distractions, Lightwire Theater brings together the classic tale of the “The Ugly Duckling” to the modern stage.

MARION — Pam Temple and Spencer Funk from the Cincinnati-based, award-winning group Wild Carrot and their Roots Band, Brenda Wolfersberger and Brandt Smith, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 21 at the Palace Theatre’s May Pavilion.

Union-Salem United Methodist Church will host Living Water, a bluegrass gospel group at 10 a.m. Oct. 9. Living Water is a group of Christian men who perform gospel music with a country flavor.

TIFFIN — The Ritz Theatre, 30 S. Washington St., Tiffin, will present Dennis DeYoung: The Music of Styx at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Dennis DeYoung is a founding member of Styx and the lead singer and writer on seven of the bands’ eight top-10 hits.

BUCYRUS – For its first show of the 2016-2017 season, the Crawford County Community Concert Association presents Shades of Buble: A Three-Man Tribute to Michael Buble at 7 p.m. Oct. 10 at the Bucyrus Elementary School auditorium, 245 Woodlawn Ave., Bucyrus.

MARION — The Marion Palace Theatre, located in downtown Marion, will stage a full-scale musical production of Disney’s “Tarzan” for performances at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 7 and 8 and 2 p.m. Oct. 9. In this adaptation of the Disney film, “Tarzan” tells the moving story of a shipwreck that leaves an infant boy washed up on the shores of West Africa.

FINDLAY — The University of Findlay’s next theater production is “Silent Sky,” a play by Lauren Gunderson, at 7:30 p.m. today through Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday in the John and Hester Powell Grimm Theatre located in the Frank J. Egner Center for the Performing Arts.
